Emma Woodcock
Awaiting details on email.
Emma Woodcock is a multidisciplinary artist, photographer and filmmaker whose work explores storytelling, intimacy, disconnection and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Working across moving image, photography, print, drawing and painting, her practice reflects a deep fascination with personal and collective memory shaped by lived experience, emotional nuance and time spent in nature.
Much of Emma’s work emerges from moments of transition and introspection, whether walking the Himalayas, navigating relationship shifts, or immersing herself in the Cornish coast. She is drawn to the emotional space between people and place, capturing moments of connection or quiet dislocation between the natural and human worlds.
Emma is also currently writing a book about London, The Hackney Road, alongside two photography projects: Pub Landlords and Lines of the Land, which explore fading traditions and the UK’s historic county borders.
Emma is excited to be collaborating with Yes Art! and be part of a collective that truly supports local artists. She will be showcasing a diverse mix of work, including her paintings created in Cornwall which are inspired by the coastline, ancient stone circles, and the vibrant color palettes of local artists. Another series reflects her experience hiking across the Himalayas, evoking moments of profound connection with nature alongside a peaceful disconnection from the human world.
Together, this varied body of work invites viewers to explore themes of connection, reflection and the poetry of everyday moments. All work is for sale.
