Ella Robinson’s work navigates the space between the esoteric and the everyday. Drawing on a background in interiors and textile design, her practice blends observational painting and illustration to create playful, dreamlike compositions rooted in nostalgia and joy.

Influenced by the naïve expressiveness of childhood drawing and the escapist worlds imagined in early memory, Ella’s work invites viewers into a softened reality. One where nature holds quiet power, and the ordinary is re-enchanted. Her distinctive use of colour and simplified forms reflects a conscious embrace of imperfection, offering space for curiosity, emotion, and reinterpretation.

Ella holds a BA in Textile Design from RMIT Australia and has exhibited internationally across art, fashion and interiors. Her evolving practice reflects an ongoing commitment to the transformative potential of imagination and the whimsy of play.
