Aaron Williams is a Leytonstone-based artist specialising in life drawing emphasising graphic structure and geometric form. In parallel with his art practice, he runs Raw Canvas, a fine art reproduction studio in Leytonstone providing giclée printing, high-resolution scanning and photography services for artists.

Aaron’s current practice revolves around the repeated study of the human figure through shorter, observational sketches exploring rhythm, reduction and line that strips the figure back to its essential shapes and gestures. Using silkscreen printing facilities at East London Printmakers in Mile End, Aaron translates these drawings into layered, tactile prints. The resulting images often resemble etchings; not through process, but through their worn multi-reproduced quality.

At Yes! Art Aaron will be selling silkscreen prints from his life drawing studies developed over the last few years through regular sessions and studies. Each print originates from fast, observational sketches, capturing the human figure in bold, geometric lines.
