Jason's current printmaking at Yes!Art explores his love of graphic design and geometry. After studying illustration at Kent Institute of Art and Design, Jason worked as commercial illustrator working for clients such as Nike and Mont Blanc. As a builder’s son he was influenced by textures observed on building sites. He has since evolved to realise ambitious wall treatments including large scale wall murals and cutting edge distressed walls and canvases.

He has collaborated with developers and interior designers and has featured in private homes, bars, restaurants, hospitals and luxury developments across the UK and worldwide interior publications.

This year you can find Jason at his ‘The Art of Capoeira’ workshop at the E17 Art Trail 20th Birthday Workshop Fair on Monday 3rd June at the Big Penny Social. Capture the dynamic movements of the Olorum Capoeira School as they perform to the barravento rhythms of live traditional capoeira music while Jason guides you through drawing techniques to bring these powerful and graceful movements to life on paper.
