Join artist, writer, and performer Catherine Linton for a two-part workshop that explores the interplay between language, sound, and personal symbolism through collage and creative expression.

Part 1: Come Collage a Sonic Text

In part 1, artist, writer and performer, Catherine Linton will share her tricks, working with chance and constraint to create and collage a sonic text. Working with the sounds of words and phrase snippets from prose texts as a starting point, you will weave new poems and texts. Yes! Art is timed on the tail of Summer Solstice Fire (peaking at 03.41 on 21 June). As a time for expression, you’ll be reading your textual gems out loud.

Part 2: Colour your Numerology Soul Code

As a soul reader working with Numerology and Chinese Astrology, Catherine will be leading an experiment to translate the numbers of your birth date / soul code into colour. Using collage you will create an art work of your unique colour resonance. 

Materials and Additional Information

Participants will engage with various materials, including text, pencils, paper, scissors, colour swatches and glue. By the end of the workshop, each attendee will have produced an individual textual piece and a soul code collage.

An optional one-to-one numerology and Chinese astrology 9 Star Ki reading is available for £26. Catherine will provide further details during the workshop.

• This workshop is intended for adults aged 16 and over.

• If possible, please bring your own pair of paper scissors.
