Kirsten loves sketching flora and fauna around Walthamstow and working these sketches into linocuts and etchings. Cormorants, Kingfishers and many other local birds are one of her favourite subjects.

Her linocuts, drypoints and woodcuts mainly feature nature she observes around her often combining her love of birds with plant symbolism. She often hand colours her linocuts and uses ethically sourced gold leaf for embellishment. In her hand-painted vibrant still lives, she explores her love of colour. You’ll find all these for sell at this year’s Yes! Art.

After Yes-Art! why not visit her in THE STUDIO, her unique bijou shop in 72 Hoe Street, E17 4PG where she often prints and paints her colourful still lives.
