Brandon’s (born 1993, New York) artwork has been featured in publications such as Hyperallergic (USA), Epicenter NYC (USA), and The Scotsman (UK). He received a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University (USA) in 2017 and an MFA from Glasgow School of Art (UK) in 2021.

His paintings explore the relationship between observer and environment as something interconnected rather than separate. He is interested in how experiences are remembered, revisited, and reconstructed through painting. He works primarily in acrylic paint; its fast-drying nature lends a sense of urgency and energy to the painting process. By embracing such factors, the work becomes less a fixed depiction of place and more a record of an encounter with it.
