Tony Blackmore specialises in creating mathematically-inspired hand-folded reliefs from drafting film and photographic lighting gels. He graduated with an MA in Fine Art from the Wimbledon College of Art in 2013 where he was awarded a travel scholarship to Japan. He has been influenced by its traditional arts and architecture ever since.

He is represented in the UK by Cube Gallery, London, where he co-curated their recent exhibition ‘Material Transformations’. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors and he also writes exhibition reviews for online resource Saturation Point.

Having taken part in three previous E17 Art Trails, this year sees Tony working on the other side of the fence as Project and Artist Support for Artillery. He has created new work specifically for Yes!Art.
