Helen Maurer studied Fine art and Theatre at Brighton before completing an MA in Glass at the Royal College of Art. Her ideas evolve by experimenting with light, glass and movement, to create installations.

Her work often includes nature and found materials. Much of Maurer’s work is temporary, capturing fleeting moments in puddles and things created by the sun.

She is a member of the Barbican Arts Group Trust studios and is represented by Danielle Arnaud Contemporary art.
